We are just two people who love to write and play video games. We want to make our hobby into a profression, so we have created Readyplayer. We started in 2020 during the COVID pandemic and we took the oppertunity to do something we always wanted to do, start our own gaming blog. To create a place where we can write about our favorite past time. But we also wanted to share Readyplayer with other fellow gamers and writers alike.
I enjoy writing about local co-op games and fantasy TV shows. I started her video game passion early with such classics as Zoombinis and Kid Pix. I fondly remembers gaming on her “Bondi Blue" plastic iMac. When I'm not working, you can find me curled up with a historical fiction novel or walking my greyhound.
I have played video games for as long as I could remember. I’ve played traditional multiple player consoles such as SNES, SEGA, and N64. I’ve also enjoyed PC game genres like MMORPGs, RTS, and FPS. Great video game memories aren’t just about the gameplay, graphics, and storyline. The best memories I have are due to the people that played games with me. For example, defeating the final boss in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with my little brother and late night dungeon crawling with my best friends during a LAN party are memories I will never forget. People are what make the experience of video gaming amazing. And I would like to share my experiences with the rest of the world.
We welcome guest blogging because we are always looking for talented induvisuals who are passionate writing about video games. Guest blogging is a great oppertunity for your work to be shown and self promotion. If you would like to volunteer and have your own article shown on Readplayer. Please drop us a email at
